I have always had issues with shin splints when running even a few kilometres, and was never sure what I was doing to cause them. Knowing how much running experience Phill has, I got in touch with him to try and figure it out. The difference was incredible. He very quickly pointed out some changes to my technique that solved the problem, and he helped me from slipping back in to those bad habits on longer runs. Now I’m able to run from Cambridge to Ely — more than a half marathon worth of distance — with no issues. For this and for his coaching style I really recommend Phill as a coach.

Even after training as a kickboxer for 4 years, I could only manage press-ups on my knees. With no kickboxing through summer 2020, most aspects of my fitness had gone out the window, so I reached out to Phill and asked him to help. Placing the organisational responsibility on someone else and for them to hold me accountable made it a lot easier for me to get back into shape, even better than I was before! I can finally do that full press-up. We’re working on pull-ups now, something that I hadn’t even considered before starting with him. Phill teaches you how to train the right way without wasting your time and I would recommend anyone with specific fitness goals to look him up.
